Barney Ross leads a group of elite mercenaries, including knife enthusiast Lee Christmas, martial arts expert Yin Yang, heavy weapons specialist Hale Caesar, demolitionist Toll Road and loose-cannon sniper Gunner Jensen, in this film which brings together classic action stars from Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren to Jason Statham and Jet Li.
The group of ‘Expendables’ are commissioned by the elusive Mr. Church with the mission to overthrow and assassinate the merciless and corrupt dictator General Garza of a small island in the Gulf of Mexico. They soon discover the corrupt dictator to be a mere puppet controlled by a ruthless former CIA agent. It airs at 9pm on Saturday March 7th, with Expendables 2 at the same time on Sunday.
