‘Chesapeake Shores’ returns to Movies 24 in April, while ‘Date My Dad’ premieres

The number one channel for romance films in the UK, Movies 24, is set to air new serial content this April.

Popular family drama series, Chesapeake Shores, is returning for a second season with a double billing every Sunday at 3pm from 1st April.

In the second season, Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) must deal with mistakes from his past and negotiate his band’s growing success – which means spending more time away from Abby (Meghan Ory) and the kids. Meanwhile, Mick (Treat Williams) makes some difficult business decisions which may affect the family. Also stars Barbara Niven, Diane Ladd and Emilie Ullerup.

New to Movies 24 in April is family comedy series, Date My Dad, premiering Sunday 29 April at 5pm with a double bill.

In Date My Dad, Barry Watson stars as Ricky Cooper, a former professional baseball player and widowed father whose only goal is to be the best dad he can be. However, his three daughters (Audrey Smallman, Zenia Marshall and Lilah Fitzgerald) have an agenda of their own: to get their father a girlfriend. Also stars Raquel Welch and Cindy Busby
