‘PEPPA PIG’ TO BECOME BIGGER THAN LIFE WITH THEMED PLAY CENTRE IN CHINA

Friday, June 8th, 2018

The cheeky little piggy Peppa Pig is set to star in a new themed indoor play centre being built in Shanghai’s LC Mall, Entertainment One announced this week.

The popular kids TV programme has been licensed to theme park operator Merlin Entertainments for the planned attraction, Peppa Pig World of Play.

The centre will feature 10 play areas for preschool-age fans of the bubbly pig and her family.

Peppa Pig is an exceptionally strong brand, recognised and loved by families around the world,” said Merlin chief development officer, Mark Fisher.

Merlin has already launched two similar Peppa Pig play centres at Gardaland in Italy and Heide Park in Germany.

Here in the UK, Peppa Pig continues to be a favourite with young viewers.

The programme can be found on demand with Ketchup TV on Freeview channel 211, the Samsung TV Smart Hub, Freesat, or via smartphone.
