Damien Lewis takes docu-drama role for A+E

Tuesday, March 12th, 2019

Homeland star Damien Lewis takes his first docu-drama role in new series Spy Wars, shot on location in London, Moscow and Israel. Revealing incredible true stories of espionage and international covert operations, the series will include reconstructions and exclusive interviews with people involved in the real cases.

Among those offering in-depth insights are former agents of Mossad, the CIA, and the KGB. As well as exploring the Cold War, the series looks at the build-up to the espionage hostilities experienced in today’s sociopolitical climate. Lewis delves into the personal histories, challenges and victories which occurred in the shadows, investigating secret operations and the treacheries of intelligence warfare.

Spy Wars will feature at MiPTV this April before airing on the History channel for A+E.
