This epic historical drama film based on the life of the Macedonian Greek general and king Alexander the Great is directed by Oliver Stone and boasts an all-star cast including Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, Val Kilmer, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jared Leto and Rosario Dawson. It screens at 9pm on Saturday 9th.

After defeating the Persian Empire, King Alexander of Macedonia leads his army across the continent, venturing further than any person from his country has ever gone.The story chronicles Alexander’s path to becoming a living legend, from a youth fuelled by dreams of myth, glory and adventure to his lonely death as a ruler of a vast Empire. Alexander is the incredible story of a life that united the Known World and proved if nothing else, fortune favours the bold.
