Ree Drummond, known for her blog and cooking show The Pioneer Woman, has been busy expanding her empire in her hometown of Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

In April, she and husband Ladd opened their “cowboy luxury” hotel, ‘The Boarding House’, and now she’s announced the opening of their newest venture, ‘P-Town Pizza’.

The restaurant features a wood-fire oven and a menu that includes salads, wings, garlic knots, cocktails, desserts and, of course, pizza.

Drummond announced the opening on her Instagram with a snap of an appetising pizza and the caption, “This might not have been the best time to take a break from carbs…”.

Fans of The Pioneer Woman who aren’t ready to commit to purchasing a plane ticket to Pawhuska can satisfy their “pizza Ree-a” craving on The Food Network this June and July, where Ree is cooking up plenty of her favourite recipes, including a fig, prosciutto and rocket pizza, and a barbecue chicken pizza with spicy slaw.
