A self-made millionaire Jonathan Hart and his beautiful, loving wife Jennifer Hart, a freelance journalist, live on a huge estate with their butler Max and a dog named Freeway, who is like a child to them. The Harts are not your average couple, they are also amateur globe- trotting detectives who seem to find trouble wherever they go. According to Max, murder is their hobby but no matter how busy they are, they always find time for love.
