Reign of Fire is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy directed by Rob Bowman. In present day London, a 12-year-old Quinn Abercromby accompanies his mother to work one day at a tunnelling project that inadvertently awakens dragons from a century-long slumber.
Twenty years later, the earth has been devastated by these fire- spewing dragons and a now adult Quinn, played by Christian Bale, works as a “fire chief” in a small refugee camp. Hope for human survival comes in the form of American hot-shot Van Zan (Matthew McConaughey). After a power struggle between Quinn and Van Zan, they come together to destroy the dragons and save humanity.
With stunning special effects and plenty of pyrotechnic action in this brilliant post-apocalyptic thriller.
