An archaeologist professor, Emma Fielding, is doing her last job with some students in her hometown to prove her late father’s theory that there would be a colony settled there. One night she has an argument with a man, and the next day he is found dead and buried in the place of the dig. Among the suspects are art and artefact thieves and an ex-boyfriend! With the help of an FBI agent, Emma tries to unravel the mystery in Site Unseen.

In Past Malice, Emma finds her colleague murdered in the crypts below Chandler Castle. When she makes unsettling connections to an age-old curse, Emma, her students, and FBI agent Jim (James Tupper) soon find themselves in danger.
