In a brutal takeover, terrorists storm the White House, codenamed Olympus. Disgraced Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) finds himself trapped inside. With the President (Aaron Eckhart) captured and Speaker of the House Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) coordinating from the Pentagon, Banning, fuelled by guilt and determination, becomes humanity’s last line of defence. He fights his way through the siege, navigating a labyrinth of traps and enemies to rescue the President and prevent a global catastrophe.
