‘BIZARRE FOODS’ IS BACK ON TRAVEL CHANNEL WITH PLENTY MORE PECULIAR PROVENDER

Friday, June 8th, 2018

It’s said that variety is the spice of life, and Andrew Zimmern would be the first to agree that there’s oodles of truth in the old adage. Having already scoured the globe for striking examples of unusual eats, strange snacks and peculiar provender, Andrew is happy to report that the world’s stock of weird fare is by no means exhausted. Returning to Travel Channel with a twelfth season of Bizarre Foods, our intrepid tastemaster samples such esoteric delicacies as boiled elk tongue, deer haggis and son-of-a-gun stew. Each of these culinary curiosities is accompanied by its own fascinating story, served up as side orders of food-for-thought across all seven episodes. Says Andrew: “This season offers up some of the best storytelling I can remember, with amazing characters who honour their local food customs in unique and delicious ways.”
