Richard Attenborough chillingly portrays the infamous murderer John Christie in gripping crime drama 10 Rillington Place (Sunday 28th, 9pm) The film dramatises the case of serial killer Christie, who committed many of his crimes in his 1940s London terraced house, and the miscarriage of justice involving his neighbour Timothy Evans, played brilliantly by John Hurt, who received a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal.
Directed by Richard Fleischer, this superbly-acted film is British cinema at its very best.
