Friday, May 18th, 2018

HISTORY will honour the life and legacy of Robert F Kennedy in a special one-hour documentary in commemoration of the 50-year anniversary of the senator’s death. RFK: The Kennedy Family Remembers is set to premiere on Monday 4 June at 10pm ET/PT.

The documentary will feature exclusive interviews with members of the Kennedy family, including Kerry Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and Robert F Kennedy Jr. Kennedy’s children will share their stories and memories of their father, along with rare personal artefacts, including a moving letter he wrote to Kathleen after his brother’s assassination.

Robert F Kennedy was a US Senator for New York, and later, the United States Attorney General under his brother’s presidency. He was an inspiring political figure, known for his advocacy for the civil rights movement, as well as other human rights and social justice movements. Tragically, he was assassinated in 1964.

In addition to interviews with his family, RFK: The Kennedy Family Remembers will feature contributions from Kennedy’s insiders and noted historians, along with rare archival footage and photographs. The documentary will explore Kennedy’s legacy and the relevance it holds in today’s America.
