FOOD NETWORK CELEBRATES FATHER’S DAY WITH VEG

Food Network is doing their bit to help viewers get their five-a-day with a new slate of veg-centric recipes available on their website just in time for Father’s Day on Sunday, 17 June.

With the statement Real Men Eat Vegetables, it’s clear Food Network means business, and they’re looking to a headline star to help them out.

From Guy Fieri, host of myriad Food network shows including Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and Guy’s Grocery Games, comes a recipe for harissa-rubbed cauliflower steaks.

Other dishes on the menu include chilli-cheese casserole, chicken-fried cauliflower, and a summery toss up of sweet corn, kale and mushrooms to serve on the side.

The network will also be showing a line-up of foodie fathers that day: from 10am, they have Jamie Oliver sharing his best tips with Jamie at Home, then from 1:30pm they have the G man himself, Guy Fieri, with a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives marathon.
