At 9pm on May 3rd, Nat Geo UK airs the first instalment of new series Tracing Heritage, in which British-Chinese actor George Young visits the ancient towns of China. These are places which have witnessed the evolution of civilisation, lasting centuries and becoming a repository of living history, still called home by families who maintain traditions practised by untold generations before them. Now George travels across the country, investigating the variety of cultural history in these ancient towns in an effort to trace his heritage.
