THE LOST BATTALLION
Towards the end of World War I, Major Charles Whittlesey is tasked with leading 550 men of the U.S. Army’s 77th Infantry Division on a mission to repel German forces in the Argonne Forest. Regarded by high command as cannon fodder, the battalion finds itself cut off and surrounded by the enemy. Harried by their own side’s bombardment, the troops must hold out against repeated attacks from the Germans until relief arrives.
