Called in to investigate the murder of a senior curator at the Louvre, Professor Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) soon finds himself the chief suspect. Going on the run with the victim’s granddaughter, cryptographer Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou), Langdon sets out to solve the secrets behind the bizarre crime. The cryptic clues point to an ancient conspiracy involving an albino monk, the Roman Catholic Church, Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of the Last Supper and the final resting place of the Holy Grail.
