Classic Hammer horror The Gorgon (Tuesday 7th, 9pm) is directed by Terence Fisher, and stars Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee . In Germany, 1910, a mysterious monster haunts a small village, turning its residents to stone one by one.​

After his girlfriend is killed, Bruno becomes the prime suspect in the murder, with his suicide shortly after seeming to confirm his guilt. However, Professor Carl Maister(Lee) has another theory –one of the villagers is possessed by the spirit of Megaera, sister to Medusa.​ Can Carl discover the true culprit before the entire village is turned to stone?
