Friday, February 16th, 2018

A brand new competition series, Truck Night in America, is set to premiere on HISTORY on Thursday 8 March. The series will feature 50 competing truck owners taking on a number of gruelling challenges that will test their driving ability and ingenuity. The winner will receive a $10,000 dollar prize, along with the title of ‘Truck Night Champion’.

Each episode will feature five drivers and three challenges, each of which will test a different vehicle attributes. The drivers’ craftsmanship will also be tested between each challenge, when they are required to re-engineer their vehicles for the next challenge. In the grand finale, the two remaining drivers will take on a super-tough three-mile obstacle course named ‘The Green Hell’, which will involve unique challenges from a mountain of crushed cars to a snake-infested swamp.

Throughout the competition, the contestants will be assisted by four expert coaches: desert racing champion ‘Pistol’ Pete Sohren; extreme sports pioneer Glen Plake; truck builder and master fabricator Abe Wine, and rock crawling champion Rob ‘Bender’ Park.

What the industry says about US

London Live, UK

I have worked with Global Listings both during my time at Universal and more recently at London Live. They have been extremely professional and prompt with their delivery of our monthly highlights and are always quick to question anything that doesn’t seem right. I would definitely recommend them.

Canal Digital

Global Listings is one of the few companies we work with that actually has made the highlights easy for the user. It is great that the highlights come in time, have short descriptions of the highlighted content and always have the airing dates and times included. I rate you excellent.
