Five oddball criminals planning a bank robbery rent rooms on an isolated cul-de-sac from a doddering but strong-minded octogenarian widow, Mrs. Louisa Wilberforce, under the pretext that they are classical musicians.

Mrs. Wilberforce lives in an isolated house with her three pet parrots, and as her criminal-minded lodgers, the gang are betting on Mrs. Wilberforce being true to her ‘little old lady’ nature, which will allow them to use her as a dupe in their plan. But as certain aspects individually come to light of the crime, the criminals come to believe that Mrs. Wilberforce has figured out what’s going on. When the gang set out to kill Mrs. Wilberforce, they run into one problem after another.
