Jermaine Clement’s vampire sitcom What We Do In The Shadows has already had an impressive crop of guest stars in its first season, including Tilda Swinton, Wesley Snipes and Evan Rachel Wood. Indeed, it was only with the appearance of Taika Waititi and Clement himself, reprising their roles from the film of the same name, that it became clear the series was a sequel rather than a reboot.
But it’s now confirmed that next season will have a guest spot from true genre royalty – Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. This should certainly make up for the news that, after the acclaim for her film Booksmart, Beanie Feldstein will not be available to reprise the role of Jenna this series. Core cast Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou and Harvey Guillén will all return.
