Based on Shakespeare’s Taming Of The Shrew, 10 Things I Hate About You takes the story from the 16th century Padua kingdom to a 90s Seattle suburb teen-dom. The Stratford sisters live under strict rules from their father that popular and beautiful Bianca is forbidden from having a boyfriend until her cold sister Kat (Julia Stiles) has one of her own. But seeing as Kat has the innate ability to alienate any guy who might be interested in her, makes the possibility of Bianca being able to have a boyfriend of her own unlikely. Also starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Heath Ledger.
