Following the show’s pilot, Patrick Walsh has replaced Kevin Abbott as executive producer and showrunner of upcoming Fox sitcom The Cool Kids, with Abbott returning as showrunner on Fox’s revival of Last Man Standing.
Created by Charlie Day and Paul Fruchbom, The Cool Kids takes place in a retirement community, where three residents find their authority challenged by the arrival of a rebellious new woman.
Walsh created and executive produced Living Biblically and was a co-executive producer on 2 Broke Girls for CBS, as well as serving as a consulting producer on HBO’s Crashing.
