PBS Versus Alzheimer’s

Wednesday, May 20th, 2020

Affecting the minds and quality of life of millions worldwide, Alzheimer’s disease remains among the greatest of medical mysteries. Can its progress be slowed, or its onset prevented completely? In Can Alzheimder’s Be Stopped? (Friday May 22nd, 8.35pm), investigators gather clues in an effort to reconstruct the molecular chain of events that ultimately result in dementia, and we follow the work of key researchers in the field who have helped to develop the leading theories of the disease.

Individuals from all walks of life, including members of a family with a strong genetic predisposition toward Alzheimer’s, describe what it’s like to struggle with the symptoms, while the potential of drug therapies that may help win the war against this cruelly debilitating disease are also examined.

What the industry says about US

A+E Networks, Asia

As the Director of Operations APAC, I wanted to say a huge thank you for Global Listings’ work, for getting us to launch on Apple+ TV. Throughout the whole process GL have been extremely accommodating, understanding and efficient in working under continually changing guidelines. For our operations team it is a huge benefit to work with a partner that we know will respond quickly and positively to achieve a successful outcome. Many thanks again.

London Live, UK

I have worked with Global Listings both during my time at Universal and more recently at London Live. They have been extremely professional and prompt with their delivery of our monthly highlights and are always quick to question anything that doesn’t seem right. I would definitely recommend them.
