Ray Means Goes Down Under On PBS

Friday, January 8th, 2021

In Australian Wilderness With Ray Mears (weeknights from Monday 11th at 7pm on PBS), the naturalist and bushcraft guru embarks on an epic journey down under. Crossing Australia and exploring its incredible landscapes, he finds out how its wildlife and human population have adapted to the challenges posed by some of the earth’s last great wilderness regions.

Trekking over mountain and desert, rainforest and ocean, Ray encounters many weird and wonderful animals, among them formidable birds of prey, giant sharks, dolphins, dangerous crocodiles and flying fox-bats. plus, of course, kangaroos aplenty – not to mention the world’s largest oyster. Ray’s travels also bring him into contact with local tribespeople, who pass on some of their hard-earned wisdom when it comes to surviving in this spectacular but unforgiving environment.

What the industry says about US

TROS KOMPAS, MAGAZINE PUBLISHERS, NETHERLANDS

The Global Listings press schedules are very good. Especially as we have very little space in the TV Guide sections, these are still very useful to us. In addition, the Global Listings TV highlights documents and press reports are also a great way for us to make choices of what TV programmes to feature.

Viasat Broadcasting

The challenge of delivering high quality, timely translation of TV schedules and press highlights should not be underestimated, but we know that with Global Listings we have found a partner whom we can trust to provide this information to the standard that we expect. The Global Listings teams are a pleasure to work with.
