REMEMBER BOWIE WITH ‘STARDUST’ PREMIERE ON PBS AMERICA

Friday, August 24th, 2018

Revisit the impact of David Bowie’s brilliant 1972 album ‘The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’ next week with PBS America’s UK premiere of David Bowie: Stardust.

Even in Bowie’s prolific career, the iconic 1972 album stands out as a riot of shimmering guitars and androgyny, the success of which launched Bowie to the status of idol amongst Britain’s youth.

Now, PBS America pays tribute to Bowie’s unique fusion of music, style and theatre with the documentary David Bowie: Stardust, revealing a career full of highs and lows before Brixton-born David Jones hit on just the right formula to propel him to stardom.

David Bowie: Stardust is on PBS America Saturday, 25 August at 14:30 and 20:20. PBS America is available on Freeview 94, Freesat 155, Virgin Media 276 and Sky 160.
