Siren renewed for third season

Monday, May 20th, 2019

Freeform’s hit mermaid series Siren, which airs in Britain on SYFY, has had a third season confirmed. With the second half of the second season still to air, its strong performance with the 18-49 demographic has nonetheless been enough to get it renewed.

Executive produced by Eric Wald and Emily Whitesell, it follows events in the coastal town of Bristol Cove as it reckons with the problems attendant on a local population of mermaids, which began with the arrival of the mysterious Ryn (Eline Powell) but have since escalated to include an attack on a nearby oil rig.
