Smithsonian unveils Aerial Britain

Wednesday, June 12th, 2019

Aerial America was the largest aerial filming project in television history. Now the Smithsonian Channel turns its Ultra High Definition cameras on Britain to create a stunningly beautiful and varied portrait of our nation in Aerial Britain, which begins at 9pm on June 14th.

Narrated by Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon and Jamestown) this four-part series takes viewers on a journey that is visually breathtaking but also filled with insights and surprising stories – from a lake so beautiful that William Wordsworth called it “a universe of fairest forms” to the secret hideaways where Led Zeppelin and Queen changed the course of music, from Kilted Yoga in the Highlands to the Bug Farm in Pembrokeshire.
