Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz and Penélope Cruz star in this weeks’ mind- bending Friday Night Film Club movie, Cameron Crowe’s Vanilla Sky, at 9pm on 18 October.

David Aames (Cruise), a young New York City publishing magnate finds romantic redemption when he falls in love with Sofia (Cruz). However, while their relationship is still in its early stages, David is coaxed into a car by his jealous and suicidal ex-lover, Julie (Diaz), who drives off a bridge, killing herself and seriously injuring David.

As he gradually begins to rebuild his life after the accident, David catches glimpses of strange things that suggest everything may not be as real as it seems…
