A suspenseful thriller based on Frederick Forsyth’s best-seller which follows the adventures of a young German reporter attempting to find a former SS concentration-camp commander and stars Jon Voight, Maximilian Schell and Maria Schell.​​​​​

Following the suicide of an elderly Jewish man, investigative journalist Peter Miller sets out to hunt down a former concentration camp SS commander.​​

He soon discovers that, despite allegations of war crimes, the former commander is now a man of importance in post-war Germany and is being protected by a powerful organisation of former SS members called Odessa.
