TWO NEW NBC COMEDIES FROM PARKS & REC ALUMNI

Friday, May 11th, 2018

Three years after Parks and Recreation wrapped up, NBC has commissioned to series two new sitcoms executive produced by its leading lights. Its co-creator Michael Schur – also responsible for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place – is helming Abby’s, which stars Natalie Morales as the barkeep at an idiosyncratic and unlicensed backyard watering hole.

Meanwhile, Amy Poehler, who starred in Parks & Rec as indefatigable official Leslie Knope, is the executive producer on I Feel Bad. Sarayu Blue leads this single-camera comedy, playing Emet, a woman struggling to balance her obligations as wife, mother, boss, daughter, and friend. Aisling Bea and Paul Adelstein also feature.
