David Dunn is a former football player taking a train home to Philadelphia after a job interview that didn’t go well. The train crashes, with David the only survivor out of 131 passengers. He didn’t just survive though, he is entirely unscathed. As David wonders what has happened, he meets a mysterious stranger Elijah Prince who is convinced this wasn’t just pure luck. Prince believes that some people are “unbreakable” – could David be one of them?
