A+E NETWORKS SIGNS DEAL WITH JOURNALIST, ELIZABETH VARGAS

A+E Networks is partnering with award-winning journalist Elizabeth Vargas (20/20, ABC News) on an overall first-look development and production deal.

The agreement will make Vargas the face of the network’s new nonfiction primetime journalistic banner A&E Investigates™. Utilising Vargas’ deep background in investigative reporting, the collection of premium nonfiction series and specials will take an unfiltered look at the often unseen stories of people and events in society.

Initial projects under the A&E Investigates umbrella include Cults and Extreme Belief, The Plot Against America, The Untitled World of Faith Fellowship Project and Child Brides (WT).
